We Love Lottie!

*Thanks to Lottie Dolls for providing us with a doll to review.

Lottie Dolls are probably the loveliest dolls we've discovered so far; they are inspired by real children and their concept, 'Be bold, Be Brave, Be You' is refreshing to see in a world dominated by the media and the concept of 'real beauty'. Molly and George both play with dolls, although George wouldn't shout about it (again, thanks to his experiences as a child), and they both love the Lottie brand.

In fact, when I was asked to choose a doll to review, George ended up choosing one for Molly for Christmas Day. He's a little gem, isn't he?! He chose Rockabilly Lottie, a girl with a passion for live music and dancing and her description includes the fact that she 'isn't the greatest dancer, but she's happy to do her own thing, and isn't scared to march to the beat of her own drum, and be herself.'

Isn't that how every child (and adult!) should feel about themselves?

Lottie Dolls are presented in pretty packaging with the information about individual dolls printed on the back, as well as a spot to write a child's name. I've left ours blank so Molly can write her name on it if she chooses...

Rockabilly is lovely, she reminds me of a character from Grease, without all the teenage angst! She has cute striped leggings, little flat shoes (perfect for dancing, right?), a musical note top, a little tulle skirt, a cute jacket, a scarf in her hair and glasses. She quite simply rocks who she is!

I had no idea what kind of Lottie George had chosen, but he sure got it right. Molly dances and sings, she loves music and being herself. Well who doesn't? I think that's the whole point, to grasp who we are and celebrate it, before we grow older and it's too late.

Lottie Dolls are perfect for any child, and I can't wait to see Molly's face when she opens this gift up on Christmas Day!

Disclosure: We received a Lottie Doll in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
