Aquabeads and the Joy of Play!

We were recently sent Cars 3 Aquabeads set for George and Molly to test out. We love any form of creativity, and this sort is definitely focused on fine motor skills and lots of patience! This particular Aquabead set includes everything you need to get started, including:
1 Table Tray
1 Bead Palette
2 Template Sheets (with a deisgn on both sides)
1 Sprayer
1 Bead Peeler
George and Molly couldn't wait to get started as they sat together at the kitchen table; they set up everything before they began which was really useful and organised (they get it from Warren!). The bead organiser is great for separating colours if a little fiddly to fill, but once they're in place it's pretty easy to use.

The set comes with four designs, Molly chose Cruz Ramirez and George chose Jackson Storm. They set up their picture guidelines beneath the beaded plastic and off they went! I sat with them as they worked, intent on matching the beads to the designs perfectly, and it was lovely to see their levels of concentration! I think I would give in so easily if it was me, but George and Molly were so determined! The only downside is there's only enough beads to make one of each character, but you can get refills which would make a perfect stocking filler for Christmas!

It didn't take long for them to complete their designs and then it was time to spray them with water and leave them to dry. We left them for a good ten minutes to dry completely, and this is how they turned out…

There's two sections to each car so you can add a second layer, so they turn out like this…

I think this is a great starter kit, with all the tools you need to get stuck into the world of Aquabeads. George and Molly really enjoyed using it and they can't wait to make more cars together!

Disclosure: I received this kit in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
