Review: Afternoon Tea at Jolly Jesters Playcentre in Pontyclun!

There's nothing more satisfying than a nice cup of tea amongst friends, and so when we were invited to try out Afternoon Tea at Jolly Jesters Playcentre in Pontyclun we couldn't really say no, could we?! Not only were we looking forward to tea, sandwiches and cakes, we also couldn't wait to let the kids explore the fun to be had at this fantastic softplay, as well as catch up with the beyond lovely staff.

Afternoon Tea is available for £12.95 and it includes unlimited tea or coffee and a broad selection of sandwiches, cakes and crisps. So for less than £6.50 per person, you're fed and watered for the day! Entry costs for children aren't included in this fabulous price, but it varies between £3 and £7 per child (under 1's are free) depending on whether you have a meal deal or not.

We were seated at our table and George and Molly went off to explore. It wasn't long at all before our coffees arrived, and soon after we received a very large display stand full of lots of lovely things. There was something for everyone!

The sandwich selection included tuna, cheese and pickle and ham. There were also some tasty crisps to share! I loved the cheese and pickle and George's favourite was the tuna...

Whilst Warren and I continued to scoff our faces, George and Molly went off to play. There's so much to do there, from slides to ball pits and so much more. There are different areas for different age ranges, and it's just a lot of fun!

When it comes to cake, we have an expert in our family. Molly loves a good Welsh Cake or Scone, and there was so much choice we felt totally spoilt.

Everything was presented so beautifully, and it was so nice to relax and unwind whilst also knowing the children were really happy to play and have fun.

I think Jolly Jesters Playcentre is so incredibly welcoming and friendly, their prices are more than reasonable, and every time we go George and Molly have a fab experience.

For £12.95 plus entry for a child/children you can't really go wrong. It's the perfect way to spend an afternoon as a family.

Disclosure: We received Afternoon Tea in exchange for review. All opinions are 100% honest and my own.
