Design a Father's Day Card with the Thortful App

Father's Day cards are always a joy to make with the children and this year we were offered the chance to design a card with Thortful.

I used my iPhone to download their app, it was extremely easy to do and as soon as you are on there you can easily manoeuvre your way around the site to find what you need.

We chose a quirky card for Warren, we like to get all gooey and sentimental as well as add in a bit of humour, so this card seemed perfect!

When it comes to adding a message you can choose to have it sent to you blank or you can add a handwritten message via a photograph and have it printed directly onto the card. We went with the latter option!1

The step-by-step guide via the app makes the process really easy, and the children and I did it as a team, which was really lovely.

Usually George takes the lead with writing, but Molly was super keen to write the card this time. She wrote their message on a piece of plain white paper. When she had finished, we took a photograph of it and uploaded it to the app.

Once the message had been uploaded it was time to check out, another really easy step. Overall the process took less than five minutes (excluding Molly's writing time) and it was really enjoyable!

The card arrived within 2 working days, and as soon as it was time to fill it out, George grabbed a pen and off he went…

Whilst he did this, Molly declared her love to her Daddy by decorating her hand!

The only thing I would suggest is maybe going over the lettering a couple of times so that the final print out is  a bit clearer than ours, but it's still so incredibly cute!

These are Molly's additions to the inside of the card, she's a great artist! Once it had been filled in and decorated, it was time to pop it in an envelope and wait until Father's Day to present it to their amazing Daddy.

We loved making a card with Thortful, the app was really easy to use and the card arrived swiftly, plus the children were able to be 100%involved in the whole process.

I think this is such a fab concept and one that people should definitely consider for Father's Day and any other special occasion in their lives.

*I received this card for free. All opinions are 100% honest and my own*
